How To Install Google Play on PC – Windows 11/10/8/7 & Mac

Google Play Store for PC is the one-stop-shop for all apps and games that you will ever need. It is already installed on android mobile phones, but not on PCs.

This makes it really challenging for PC users to download and use apps that are made for android users. Especially for gamers, this is a huge issue, as downloading Android games and playing them on the PC becomes a little difficult.

They have to go hunting for ways to download these games on their personal computers or laptops which is very time-consuming and annoying. In this article, we’ll look at how you can get the Google Play Store on your PC.

By downloading the Google Play Store on your Windows or Mac, you can have easy access to all android apps and games that you might have had issues downloading on your PC otherwise. So let us look at a couple of methods and a few easy steps that you’ll need each to download the Google Play Store for your computer.

How to Install Google Play Store for PC? (Windows 11/10/8/7 & Mac)

Method 1: Download Google Play Store for PC Using Nox Player

1. Connect your PC to a Stable Internet Connection

The first step is to make sure that your computer or laptop is connected to the internet and has a stable connection with a good speed.

2. Go to your browser

Next, you need to go to your browser, for example, Google Chrome, and on the search bar, type ‘Nox Player’. The first result would say ‘Nox player- free android emulator for PC and Mac’. Click on the link. This will take you to the official website of Nox player.

3. Download Nox Player

When you click on the link, a page opens up with a download button right there on the screen. Click on that download button. You should get a pop-up or a notification on your laptop telling you that the Nox player is being downloaded on your PC.

Once you get a notification about download completion, install the Nox player. This should start installing the application on your laptop or computer. It might take a couple of minutes. Once the Nox Player is installed on your PC, open it. You’ll see a screen that says “Android is starting”.

4. Login into your Google Play account

You will see a screen with the Google Play logo and an option to sign in. Use your Google Play ID, which is your registered email ID, and your password to log into your Google play account.

Once your log-in process is completed, it will automatically take you to the home screen of the Nox player, and you will find a search bar with the google play icon, right on top. Search the app or game you want to install your process and you can easily install it from there.

Method 2: Install Google Play Store for PC Using Bluestacks

1. Ensuring a stable internet connection

Again, you’ll need to connect to a network, to begin with. Select a network that has a decent speed and doesn’t take a long time to download and install anything.

2. Search for Bluestack on your browser

Go to your default browser and in the search bar look and type ‘Bluestacks’. The first result should take you to the official website of Bluestack. Click on the link. You’ll see the homepage of Bluestack.

3. Download Bluestack on your PC

Once you are on the homepage of Bluestack, you will find the download link right there on top. Click on the link. This should start the download process and show up on your PC as something like ‘downloading bluestack.exe’. Once the download is complete, run or install the Bluestack android emulator on your PC. The app might ask you for permission to make changes on your PC and to approve you might require your admin password. Without this permission, you might not be able to install the application on your PC.

4. Logging in to your Google Play account

The page that opens up when you complete installing the app will ask you for your Google Play login. Use your registered email address or phone number and your password to log in to your Google Play account. You will need to download the Google Play store after this. Once you have the app, in the search bar type the name of the app or game you want to download and it should start the downloading process.

How To Download Apps From the Google Play Store?

Once you have downloaded the Google Play store using one of the two methods mentioned, you should be able to find all the apps and games that you would see on the Google Play store on your phone if you use an android mobile phone.

In the search bar of Google Play, type the name of the app or game you are looking for. Click on the install button next to it. Your application or game should start downloading. Once it gets downloaded, install the app or game on your PC.

Most of the time, the installation process is automatic, so you might not need to do anything. After the installation is complete you should be able to access your app or game on your laptop without any issues or lags.
